Training Requirements

Louisiana Ethics Training

Completion of Ethics Training: La. Rev. Stat. Ann. 42:1170 (A)(3)

(3) Commencing on January 1, 2012, each public servant who was not required to complete education and training pursuant to Paragraph (1) or (2) of this Subsection shall receive a minimum of one hour of education and training on the Code of Governmental Ethics during each year of his public employment or term of office, as the case may be.

Please use the link below to complete the training. Once you have completed the training, give your immediate supervisor a copy of your certificate of completion and sign the form stating you have completed the training.

Preventing Sexual Harassment Training

In 2018, the State passed Act No. 270 (House Bill 524), a new law mandating state and local governments to define sexual harassment and to establish training protocols to prevent it.  It is important to note that this law is effective as of January 1, 2019.

All employees must complete the Preventing Sexual Harassment Training-All Employees by clicking the link below.  Supervisors must complete an additional training, Preventing Sexual Harassment-Supervisors. 

Once you have completed the training, please click "next" and follow prompts.  Give your immediate supervisor a copy of your certificate and sign the form stating you have completed the training.
